A cycle divided to the 3 three-hours classes

3 sessions:

- Sunday December 28th from 10 am to 1 pm

in The Cherry Studio de Arte in Santiago

- Monday December 29th from 10 am to 1 pm

in The Cherry Studio de Arte in Santiago

- Tuesday December 30th from 4 to 7 pm

in The Calle Estampa Studio

The linocut can also be considered as an excellent exercise for the right and left cerebral hemispheres! You'll understand why pretty quickly 😊

First meeting

Preparation of the theme and preliminary drawing, we will talk about composition, contrast, how to transfer a color theme to black and white. We will show examples of graphic works and Xmas motifs.

Then we’ll learn to transfer your design to linoleum and we’ll start to engrave. We will talk about the mirror inversion and practice both hemispheres of the brain. We will learn about engraving tools and how to use them.

Second meeting

We will continue with engraving and later create a test print on paper. This print will help us with the final works on last details. Than we’ll be ready for the professional printing process in the Print Studio The Calle Estampa.

The third meeting

We will create the final print in the Print Studio The Calle Estampa working with the professional print press.

You will learn how to apply printing ink to the matrix and how to control the satin machine and you’ll create your own original Xmas cards.

Price:

$3000 including materials and refreshment

All tools will be available, bring your ideas, sketches or photos

It's necessary to deposit the half of the price as inscription fee at least 3 days before the course for to buy all the material for your needs.

Un ciclo de tres clases de tres horas cada una:

- Domingo 28 de Diciembre de 10 am a 1 pm en El Studio de Arte Cereza en Santiago
- Lunes 29 de Diciembre de 10 am a 1 pm en El Studio de Arte Cereza en Santiago
- Martes 30 de Diciembre de 4 a 7 pm en La Calle Estampa

¡Lo que grabes en linóleo también puede considerarse un excelente ejercicio para los hemisferios cerebrales derecho e izquierdo - lo entenderás bastante rápido!

Primer encuentro:

preparación del tema y dibujo preparatorio, hablaremos de composición, de contraste, de cómo trasladar un tema de color al blanco y negro. Mostraremos ejemplos de obra gráfica y ideas navideñas.
Después sigue trasladar tu diseño al linóleo y grabarlo. Hablaremos sobre la transferencia de espejo y practicaremos ambos hemisferios del cerebro. Aprenderemos sobre las gubias de grabado y cómo se utilizan. Empezamos con el proceso de grabación.

Segundo encuentro:

Continuamos y terminamos el trabajo de la grabación y crearemos una impresión de prueba en papel. La impresión nos ayudará con los últimos toques de los detalles… Con esto estaremos listos para el último paso del trabajo en el estudio profesional del arte gráfico La Calle Estampa.

Tercer encuentro:

Crearemos la impresión final en forma de las cartas originales navideñas. Vas a aprender cómo aplicar la tinta con el rodillo y trabajar con la prensa profesional en el estudio La Calle Estampa.

Precio: $3000 incluye el material y un refrigerio

Todas las herramientas están disponibles para su trabajo artístico
Es necesario pagar la mitad del costo en la inscripción al menos una semana antes el curzo comienze para comprarte todo el material que necesites.
