A relaxing outdoor painting course with a story
Let's paint outside! As long as the wonderful blooming season is here!!!
Let yourself be excited by the atmosphere of the blooming gardens and parks of old Prague and put your emotions on paper.

Lecturer will guide you through a course of plein air painting in the style of Impressionism. M.A. Markéta Loman Vogelová, a graduate of Academy of Architecture, Arts and Design in Prague, who recently returned from Mexico after 13 years. More about the lecturer

You will visit romantic corners of Prague with her, she will tell you the story of the chosen place, which will then let you be inspired for your artistic expression. This is not about copying reality, but about displaying our impression and moods. You will talk about the Impressionists, who they were and how they painted, and you will try to imitate their technique. Your teacher will be happy to share her knowledge and skills with you.
She will briefly tell you something about observing the world around you, about composition and how light, shadow, contrast and perspective work in painting.

Adults and children are welcome if you wish, from 10 to 100 years old. Parents with children under 10 years old can also join. Then, please, bring water colors with you for them.
We will work with tempera paints that are diluted with water and dry quickly. They are therefore ideal for working outdoors and you can also work with them pasty, as e.g. the famous Vincent van Gogh did.
Minimum group of 3 people.
The course will take place after the group is full. It is necessary to reserve your place in advance.
Course fee: CZK 750 per person
