A cycle of four three-hour classes. 4 Fridays 17:30-20:30
First meeting
preparation of the theme and preliminary drawing, we will talk about composition, contrast, how to transfer a color theme to black and white. We will show examples of graphic works by important artists.
Second meeting
transferring your design to linoleum and engraving. We will talk about mirror transfer and practice both hemispheres of the brain. We will learn about engraving tools and how they are used. We will create a test print on paper.
The third meeting
is fine-tuning the matrix and printing. We will create the final print.
Variants of printing:
on paper, on textile and imprint in ceramic clay.
You will learn how to apply printing ink to the matrix and how to control the satin machine. You will find out what to print on textiles. You will see an imprint in the ceramic.
In the fourth meeting, you will create a notebook, diary, diary using the book binding technique. Your graphic, textile print, or ceramic tile can serve as a book cover or appear in their pages.
What will you take away?
In addition to knowledge about the method of preparing materials, printing and a little insight into the history of art, you will learn that:
The resulting linocuts can be used as art prints on paper. That is, graphic sheets.
Or use the matrix to decorate textiles. Bags, purses, t-shirts, but also textile fabrics. That is, a textile design piece.
Or you can use the matrix for a tile, a mat for a pot, a napkin stand...
You will bind your own book from your own prints.
You can adjust which option you prefer with the course instructor during the art workshop.
Do you want all three? That is also possible!
So what will be created?
Graphic sheet or textile original print on fabric, handbag, bag, t-shirt...that is, your own unique design piece, ceramic relief.
That linocut can also be considered as an excellent exercise for the right and left cerebral hemispheres! You'll understand that pretty quickly 😊

Un ciclo de cuatro clases de tres horas. 4 viernes de 17:30-20:30
Primer encuentro:
preparación del tema y dibujo preparatorio, hablaremos de composición, de contraste, de cómo trasladar un tema de color al blanco y negro. Mostraremos ejemplos de obra gráfica de importantes artistas.
Segundo encuentro:
trasladar tu diseño al linóleo y grabarlo. Hablaremos sobre la transferencia de espejo y practicaremos ambos hemisferios del cerebro. Aprenderemos sobre las herramientas de grabado y cómo se utilizan. Crearemos una impresión de prueba en papel.
La tercera reunión
es afinar la matriz y la impresión. Crearemos la impresión final.

Variantes de impresión:
sobre papel, sobre textil e impresión en arcilla cerámica.
Aprenderás cómo aplicar tinta de impresión a la matriz y cómo controlar la máquina satinadora. Descubrirás como imprimir en textiles. Verás una huella en la cerámica.
En la cuarta reunión crearás un cuaderno, un diario utilizando la técnica de encuadernación. Tu gráfico, estampado en textil o baldosa cerámica puede servir como portada de un libro o aparecer en sus páginas.
¿Qué te vas a llevar?
Además de conocimientos sobre el método de preparación de los materiales, impresión y un poco de conocimiento sobre la historia del arte, aprenderás que:
Los grabados en linóleo resultantes se pueden utilizar como impresiones artísticas en papel. Es decir, hojas gráficas.
O para usar la matriz para decorar textiles. Bolsos, carteras, camisetas, pero también tela. Es decir, una pieza de diseño en textil.
O puedes utilizar la matriz para un azulejo, un tapete cerámico para una olla, un servilletero...
Encuadernarás tu propio libro a partir de tus propias impresiones.
Puedes seleccionar qué opción prefieres con el instructor del curso durante el taller de arte.
¿Quieres los tres? eso también es posible.
¿Que vas a crear entonces?
Lámina gráfica o textil estampado original sobre tela, bolso, cartera, camiseta... es decir, tu propia pieza de diseño única, relieve cerámico.
¡Lo que grabes en linóleo también puede considerarse un excelente ejercicio para los hemisferios cerebrales derecho e izquierdo - lo entenderás bastante rápido! 😊
