The linocut can also be considered as an excellent exercise for the right and left cerebral hemispheres! You'll understand why pretty quickly 😊
learn - STEP BY STEP -
First meeting
Preparation of the theme and preliminary drawing, we will talk about composition, contrast, how to transfer a color theme to black and white. We will show examples of graphic works and inspiring motifs.
Then we’ll learn to transfer your design to linoleum and we’ll start to engrave. We will talk about the mirror inversion and practice both hemispheres of the brain. We will learn about engraving tools and how to use them.
Second meeting
We will continue with engraving and later create a test print on paper. This print will help us with the final works on last details. Than we’ll be ready for the professional printing process in the Print Studio The Calle Estampa.
The third meeting
We will create the final print in the Print Studio The Calle Estampa working with the professional print press.
You will learn how to apply printing ink to the matrix and how to control the satin machine and you’ll create your own original Xmas cards.

$3000 including materials and refreshment
All tools will be available, bring your ideas, sketches or photos
It's necessary to deposit the half of the price as inscription fee at least 3 days before the course for to buy all the material for your needs.
